Animals

We have sheep farms that get new lambs in the spring. Most of the paralyzed are slaughtered in the fall. The meat is frozen and eaten throughout the year. The skins are sent for tanning and later sold to ourselves and others.

There are currently 3 smaller chicken farms run by different families, which complement our common consumption of eggs. In addition to egg production, the hens are slaughtered and frozen for later use.

We currently have two bull calves every summer, which graze land and are slaughtered as winter approaches.

We also keep bees that enjoy that much of our land is allowed to be nature that takes care of itself.
