Guided Tour

Come on a guided tour of The Self-Sustaining Village and gain insight into the village’s everyday life.

You will hear about the village’s history, organization, economy and community. We see among other things a straw house, the common house, animal husbandry, vegetable garden and wastewater treatment - and it takes about 1.5 – 2 hours

Volunteer

Here in the village you can participate in the work voluntarily in exchange for food and lodging. You work about 5 hours a day - and it is primarily work in the vegetable garden and kitchen. If you know something special, you are always welcome to contribute with that.

As a WWOOF volunteer you participate in the common meals when there are any - otherwise you prepare your own food from what is available. You can stay overnight in a guest room or bring your own tent.
