Common Food

The common meals are enormously important for our cohesion. It is here that you just meet and keep up with each other’s everyday life - and just a good time to make other social and practical arrangements.

Currently there are common meals 4 times a week. You can eat in our common house or take the food home and enjoy it in peace and quiet with the family. There is always a vegetarian option - and we only eat meat that we produce ourselves. This means that on average we only eat meat about 1-2 times a week, but in return it is always wonderful meat that we know where comes from.

In the village we bake all our own rye bread. Rye bread is the basis, and during the packed lunch season 25-30 loaves are baked and eaten per week. We also make jam, fermentation and other good things for the refrigerator together.

We also have a kiosk with the opportunity to buy both candy and a good bottle of organic wine.
